Shadow slowly stopped caressing Sonic's neck, smiling softly as the other opened an eye to look at him, his blush growing darker. The blue one straightened himself, clearing his throat as he looked over at the dark hedgehog, suddenly forgetting what he was going to say as he somehow got lost in the other's beautiful, crimson eyes. Finally, he shook his head, mumbling. "I should go help Silver. Maybe we can talk later," He quickly got out of the fake cave, going over to the edge of the pool and pulling himself out of the water, shuddering lightly from the now cool air. "it was nice meeting you." Sonic finished, before jogging inside, leaving a confused Shadow alone.

Shadow grunted, he was now sitting on the edge of the dock, his feet dangling over the edge, slightly sumberged in the water. "What did I do wrong? I thought he liked it..." His ears lowered, now pulling his knees up to his chin, drawing little patterns on the wood under him with his index finger. This was the main reason he didn't date people, he hated developing feelings for someone, for caring. He usually stayed away from people besides Iggy and sometimes Silver. True, mostly everyone wanted to be friends with him, but most of the time he would push them away. What if he fell in love with someone and they didn't feel the same? Or if he got betrayed? Shadow would never admit it, not even to Iggy, but he was scared, scared to be hurt. "Hmpf, whatever." Shadow let out a long sigh before standing and grabbing his and Iggy's things they left out on the dock from earlier. At least everyone went home since the party ended, so he wouldn't run into the blue hedgehog again.

"Silver, are you sure it's okay if I stay the night here?" "Of course!" Sonic giggled, smiling at his best friend. "Alright, well in that case I'm going to take a shower." The silver hedgehog nodded, walking past Sonic to go find his brother. "Okay, you know where the bathroom is." "Yep." And then the blue one departed, going to do as he said he would.

"Here, you left this out at the dock." Shadow mumbled, handing Iggy his shirt, flip-flops and phone. Iggy's ears twitched, looking at Shadow as he took his things. "Thanks. Hey Shadow, are you okay?" "Hm, yeah. I'm going to my room now, see you in the morning." And Shadow left, starting to head back to the room he usually stayed in when he spent the night at Iggy's.

"Ah, that was a great shower~" Sonic sighed, leaving his bedroom, stretching as he smiled. He was in a T-shirt and some shorts, making his way down the hall to go tell Silver good night, that is until he saw Shadow turn a corner, making his ears perk. "He's still here?" Without thinking Sonic sneakily ran up to Shadow, grabbed his phone from the other's hand and grinned, saying playfully. "Catch me if you can~" And then in an instant, Sonic was gone, having dashed down another hall way.

Shadow blinked, looking down at his now empty hand, before snapping his head back up, now chasing after Sonic. "Hey, give that back!" Sonic glanced over his shoulder at Shadow, shocked at how fast the other was, only making his grin widen. "You have to catch me first~!" Shadow gave out a low growl, not in the mood to play. Finally, he had had enough. He darted towards Sonic, grabbing the other's shoulder and pushing his back against the wall. Sonic yelped, now staring at Shadow, surprised. "Give me my phone, now. I want to go to bed." The younger one stuck out his tongue, tightening his hold on Shadow's phone. "No way." Shadow growled again, gripping Sonic's shoulder's tightly as he subconsciously pressed their hips together. "I said give it to me!" Sonic gasped, feeling their lower bodies touching and moving together, making his face flush and all at once drop the phone on the carpeted floor, turning his head to the side. The darker one instantly loosened his hold on Sonic's shoulders, thinking he hurt the other, shifting slightly, which made their hips softly grind together. "Sh-Shadow..." Sonic shuddered, whimpering softly as he tried to hold back a moan, his ears lowering submissively. "Sonic, are you okay?" The blue one nodded, turning his head back to look Shadow in the eyes. Shadow's eyes softened as he looked over Sonic, completely forgetting what he previously wanted, now wanting something else. "That's good." He murmured, letting a hand go to Sonic's cheek, cupping it, now realizing how close they actually were. Slowly he leaned in, making his lips press against Sonic's softly, tilting his head slightly to deepen the kiss. Sonic blinked, before letting his eyes close to enjoy the kiss, happily returning it. Shadow wrapped his free arm around Sonic's waist, licking the other's lips, asking for entry. The younger one granted Shadow entrance, parting his lips and letting out a quiet moan, grasping Shadow's sides. "Hmm~" Shadow moaned, eagerly slipping his tongue in Sonic's mouth, exploring it. The blue one shyly licked Shadow's tongue, earning another moan to escape from Shadow. Eventually, they had to pull back to breathe, panting as they stared into each other's eyes. Shadow nuzzled Sonic's neck, smiling happily. "Sh-Shadow?" "Yeah, Sonic?" Sonic buried his face in Shadow's chest fur, sighing in content, before asking. "Can I...sleep in the bed with you tonight~?" The older one blushed softly, before chuckling and replying. "Of course you can Sonic." Sonic purred as Shadow picked up his phone before taking the other's hand, going to his bedroom and laying down with his new boyfriend.

Sonic snuggled up to Shadow, sleepily closing his eyes. "Good night Shadow." "Good night, Sonic." The darker hedgehog murmured, before closing his eyes as well, both of them drifting off to sleep with smiles on.
